Permissions (Coursepacks, E-Reserves, Book Reprints)
Before sending a permission request, please verify that the rights to the material are controlled by NYU Press. Particularly in the case of photographs and essays appearing in edited collections, some other entity may hold the copyright.
Once you have verified that NYU Press is the copyright holder, please send complete bibliographic information (author, title, page range, etc.) to Susan Hamilton by e-mail at susan.hamilton@nyu.edu, by fax at 212-995-3833, or by post at:

If the requested material is to be used in a coursepack, please indicate the semester and expected enrollment; if to be reprinted in a book, indicate the expected print run, price, and date of publication.
Please allow two to three weeks for a response.

Alternate Format Requests for Disability Access
Please direct requests for classroom texts in alternate formats for students with disabilities to Brett Hopp, Systems Administrator, via e-mail to brett.hopp@nyu.edu or fax to 212-995-3833. Include in your request the book's title, author, and ISBN, the institution name and course designation, and a statement certifying that the student has purchased a copy of the book.
