Multimedia

As the name suggests, multimedia is the combination of components, namely images, animations, sound and movies. Today, even an average multimedia PC will have the built-in capacity to capture sound from CD players, through a microphone supplied with the computer, or from a tape recorder connected through the built-in sound card of the computer. For a modest investment, a video-capture card can be added that will capture movie clips from a VCR or a video camera. In such a technically rich environment, it is relatively easy to incorporate multimedia components into Web presentations.
