Sample Storyboard

To write a simple Web page, you will not need to know all the latest features of HTML, which is expanding all the time. . . . Our goal is simply to get you started with your transition onto the Web, so that with a handful of tags, your Web site can be up and running in no time. Thus, we begin with a simple set of pages and build onto them gradually, using more and more HTML. The site we will build for you will serve as a useful template for your own course Web site.

First, you need to decide what material you want to include. If you have a lot of material, this stage may involve some in-depth planning, which we discuss in detail later. Regardless of the amount of material you want to include, it is usually a good idea to storyboard your site. For this, a sharp pencil and a piece of paper will usually suffice.

In our sample class home page, we will include the following sections:

1. A Course Description

2. A Syllabus

3. Office Hours

4. An E-mail Link
