NEW AND ALTERNATIVE RELIGIONS SERIES

With the increasing acceptance of NRMs in American life and the maturation of scholarship in the field, the New and Alternative Religions series has been created to provide a home for book-length works in new religions studies.
The principal focus of this series will be new and alternative religiosity and movements in the history and current life of the United States. Works dealing with NRMs elsewhere, however, will be considered, and those dealing with globalization of religious trends and currents and with religions in diaspora in the United States will be warmly welcomed.
We invite manuscripts from diverse disciplines including religious studies, sociology, anthropology, and history. Appropriate works for the series include single-authored titles such as ethnographies, historical studies, or primers, primary source collections, and readers. Books in the series will typically be aimed at scholars, students, and general readers and should be well-written, broadly appealing, and accessible.
